Coronavirus update

" It found Germany has significantly lower mortality, as did Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, the Baltic states and Finland, where cabbage is popular.

Bulgaria, Greece and Romania also had reduced death rates, whereas fatalities were much higher in Belgium, France, Italy, Spain and the UK, where less cabbage is consumed, The Sun reported."

So what about countries like N.Z, Bahrain, Jamaica, Equatorial Guinea.? Do they all eat a lot of cabbage?

Coronavirus update

A parcel was delivered today - it was via Melbourne . I sprayed the outside with spray disinfectant and waited for it to evaporate as per instructions before handling the parcel

How long can coronavirus linger on surfaces ? Plastic . cardboard . I am not sure so i take this precaution

Anyhow spray disinfectant also kills other pathogens which i would rather not be subject to , rhinovirus , Influenza

NZ eradicated the threat before mortality rates became an issue

22 deaths in N.Z , so no, they didn't.
Reggae and cannabis are popular in Jamaica. Maybe some research is needed to see if these are responsible for the low mortality rate.

I watched the news and they say there is a streoid with another drug together that works well, cant remember the names now.

Yes, steroids reduce inflammation.  BUT just because people survive does not mean that they are not going to have ongoing problems.  Many, even those who had minimal symptoms of COVID, suffer from chronic fatigue many months later, and/or have multiple organ damage.  Nobody knows yet the long term complications, especially in children and young people.   And the rushed through vaccines are also a worry..

22 deaths, while alarming and sad ,  is statistically inconsequential relative to that of  unsuccessfully eradicated regions of the world

So i stand by my consideration that NZ eradicated the virus before mortality rates became as issue ( that could  be used in debating dietary mitigation issues)
