its fine waiting out in the open while its nice weather, today here is lovely outside.

i hope they have a plan should the weather turn nasty.

You DONT have to wait in open David, as I said you can sit in your car   ....... But I am sure they have ALL bases coverered, the head honcho is a VERY savy bloke

you do know its not mandatory to own a car?

i live in a seaside comunity, many of the people live withing either a short walk or a ride on a mobility scooter to the main street. (where the clinic is)

sometimes its mobility scooter central in wallyroo when on mass the pensioners are doing their shopping.

i mearly pose the question, i wonder what the plan will be when the weather turns nasty.

maybe some kind of tent, but open at each end so foot traffic can still get by?

i have no issue with the waiting outside, but they must be sure the 'clients' are not just left standing for long periods.

I can assure the medicos in my town KNOW what they are doing  ....... no need for you to worry

Bty I didnt say you HAD to sit in your car   .... I said you COULD  ....... please read my posts CORRECTLY

You sure a glass 1/2 empty kinda bloke

please read your own post, 'could' wasnt in it.

you wrote 'you CAN sit in your car'

you sure are a, no, your allowed to be wrong, i accept your grovelling apology.

Go back to school David, both words have the same meaning  ............... pmsl@grovel  ....

that would be in the official 'lyhargr dictionary' right?

the one we all use?

so tell me if both words mean the same then why have 2 of them?

pmsl@they both mean the same

You really are like a dog with bone   .....

dont start an argument you can't win.

so, folkes out there, do 'COULD and CAN' mean the same thing?

if they do then i will give a full and frank apology to lyhargr

cant be fairer than that can i?

'Dog with a bone' means not letting go of something.

Could is a choice. Can is the ability to do something. So, if you don't have a car, you can't sit in it. If you do have a car, you could sit in it.
