I find this part misleading in regard to spending as you can still purchase many products online.

"That's the trouble; at the moment you can spend money on groceries," he says. "Food and perhaps toilet paper if you're lucky, but not much else.

Last time I looked there are still plenty of online businesses wih products to sell. Myer as far as I know is still available online.

i havent checked myers facebook page but big W, target and Kmart are all having problems with the online order systems

not built for the volume of shoppers they are getting.

i tried to order from target and my order was cancelled within 5 minutes of placing it

the online chat with a rep thing was stuffed

the phone line was stuffed too!

lots of very angry shoppers posting on their facebook page.
