I don't have an issue with any school choosing a chaplain from whatever religion they want if that is what they want. I am sure, as daydream has pointed out, that there are many good religious chaplains that can accomodate a school
What I object to is that there is no choice now to choose anything other than a religious welfare person.
And a secular school should have the option of employing a secular welfare person. To have that option taken away is tantamount to religious blackmail.

$31 billion pa subsidies for religion.....err.......they don’t pay tax .
How's this programme fair when everyone else is being asked to tighten their belts and do some heavy lifting?
