Now, all that hatred is being redirected at the refugees.  And while they keep justifying it by quoting, selectively and out of context, from Quran, what really matters to them is their darker skin.

The neo Nazis are using existing attitudes together with creating fear to gain political power.  While the racism existed in the community for a long time, the right wing politicians give it legitimacy, and the fear brings in even people, who in the past did not care too much either way, to vote for the right wing racist parties.  Just like many Germans had no problem with Jews until they were told that Jews are a danger to them.  

 

Being racially pure actually means being inbred.  And that is not healthy.  🙂

My husband was a ten pound pom, when he arrived he was referred to as a refo. He laughs about it
