I have not watched the video......however.I hate fakes.....I detest the people who sell them.

I feel for the brands that are counterfeited.

I hate counterfeits and knockoffs.

I bought my son's girlfriend a beautiful crystal studded leather wrist wrap bracelet for Christmas (not cheap) and now I see they are selling cheap knockoffs in those junk jewellery stores.

In my early eBaying days I bought a well known brand "cashmere" sweater. When it arrived, the way it was cobbled together told me at once it was not 'well known brand' and the way a long dangling thread snipped from a seam melted into a sticcky little mess when I held a match to it told me that unless someone had managed to breed a synthetic goat  it was definitely not cashmere either.Smiley LOL

I did get my money back though and it taught me a valuable lesson.

I have a Rolex watch that my stepson bought for me about 40 years ago for AU$18.- in Singapore, when he was serving in the Navy. The watch is still working and looking good. I have to take it to the Jewellers to have the battery changed every couple of years, as the girls at the Chemist are unable to open the back of the watch. It needs the same tool as a genuine Rolex watch.

Someone asked me if I ever bought something from China or any other Asian country and found it to be rubbish?

I have bought items from China and other Asian countries in the past and will again if need be. The same items are selling here for between three and ten times the price that I pay an Aisian seller and free postage in most cases.

The same stepson bought for his teenge son a pair of expensive Brand name shoes in Melbourne. After two weeks of wearing them the soles fell apart.

Where do people think that most of the Big Brand mame articles come from? Almost everything is now produce in third world countries because the Designers can get much cheaper labour there and therefore make a bigger profit.

Hardly anything is 100% manufactured in Australia or any other country where the designers come from.

If the Governments don't care where our food comes from, why should I care where a handbag or shoes etc. come from?

Remembered when I saved up for something "special"  it was a present to me.  An attainment, a recognized brand of quality for "1st prize".

Now counterfeited or a knockoff.  Nobody cares about the effort.   I feel cheated.
