Luckily most Christians don't take the words of the Bible too literally aye? Imagine what the world would be like if they did.
But it is always interesting to see what bits of the bible we have chosen to adhere to and those we choose to ignore cause it is irrelevant in todays society. One of my favourites is this one:
When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets: Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her
So if I defend my hubby by grabbing the other guy by his, ahem, 'secrets' then my hand will be cut off. Gees alright already...
What else is there?

And lets not forget this one:
"But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head..." 1 Corinthians 11:5

God asks Martini to be quiet. (1 Timothy 2:12)

Or this one:
"But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days." (Leviticus 12:5)
But not if I have a boy? I'll be miraculously 'clean' if it is a boy?
