Do you still find it creepy that a person from this forum spends time googling your name and posting personal info here???
Do you also find it against Ebay policies??
Do you wonder why Ebay still allows this poster to say after doing it time and time again?
And yes.. once again it is my personal information that this person has posted... by the same poster as last time...
Creepy much..

if this is about what not an eloi posted in the other thread i don't think its overly creepy as he used your user name and location that you have posted many times - although i don't think it was necessary to do it and then post the results here.

I don't think cats_mad or cats_back are your real names!

He has done this to multiple people..... on multiple occasions.
it is not that he put a link to me that is my main concern, it is that he has posted that type of information on multiple occasions and being suspended for it then gets to come back and do it again and again.
Ebay allow him to return even though he breaks the rules.
I do think that it is creepy that a man takes the time to do this... I am sure that I could google anyones ID on here but I don't....
I know some of what i do is public.. anything you put online is public.. BUT I can google my real name and come up with zero as I am 100% aware of the risks. I only put out what I feel safe to do so. Cat Mad is my online name.. he did link to something personal that Ebay say not to do. He is in the wrong.

Cats Back ,
You are very vocal with your Political views here and have said where you live ,that you had/were planning to join the Lib party. With comments you make about things in your area it is not really unusual imo that someone might look up the political candidates and their performance in order just to comment on things you say .In doing that they may locate you .That imo would be a risk of both posting here and being a known lib party member.I have read you comment in the past at what other posters do give out including comments on those who use photos. You have said people should be careful and that you are. That your name could be searched and no one would find anything online .Obviously this is not the case .People an active member of a political party ,posting on an MP's fb page would seem to make one more visable as is the intention for the member I would imagine.
Why did you use an id you used here ?
Is this what the past thread was about ?

An MP's fb page isn't private Cats Back

he may well be in the wrong as far as ebay policy goes but what he did is not what i consider creepy.
now if he had googled your real name and posted private info gathered from that i would think otherwise.

I think it's creepy that decades after the Internet became popular, there are still people who think they can write things on public sites and think it's private.

I know many people's facebook pages... more than people realise.. I don't go posting links to those pages.. it is a matter of respect.
People from here have popped up as suggested friends... I laugh it off and move on.. I don't go searching for them , I don't go posting links here.. i leave it be.. as it should be done by respectful people.
What was done was because that person is nasty.. they have been suspended for it before for doing it..

and as far as breaking ebay's rules goes this thread is also a violation as its an interpersonal dispute.
should we start a thread with a poll asking if you should be allowed to continue to post despite flaunting the posting guidelines?
