THE youngest Irwin is following in the TV hosting footsteps of his Crocodile Hunter father and big sister, Bindi.
Robert Irwin, the nine-year-old son of the late Steve Irwin, will co-host Wild But True on Discovery Kids Asia.
God he's cute!

No. why do you ask? What I said has been well documented in the media. Bob had been on television many times saying how sad he is that he does not have contact with the children. Also how sad he is that Steve's dreams have all but been discarded.
I ask because I never consider that the media reports anything correctly and I thought you may have known them personally.
I think we can read anything into what has happened, if I wanted to see my grandchildren, with regard to what I might want, or think my deceased child might want, I would not speak of it to the media.......I would respect the decisions made by their remaining parent.
It's beyond silly to choose a path that isolates you from them. (imo)
I think Terri probably has a clearer idea of what Steve may have wanted for his family and his work.
It was not a media report. It was Bob himself speaking. There is nothing wrong with saying that you are sad. If I remember, Steve himself was not entirely happy about the way the zoo was changing, but when there is a stronger person involved.....
I don't think Bob 'chose the path of isolation'. I doubt that he had a choice.
I have met Terri, a long time ago, before her marriage, but only to say hello when introduced. She came to talk to students at the medical school. I do remember a couple of doctors drooling at her khaki shorts and what they enclosed.
"If I remember"...
"I don't think"...
"I doubt"...
"I have met Terri only to say hello but I do remember the doctor drooling at what was in her shorts"...
All a bit vague to be making assertions about how Terri is raising her and Bobs kids, and how she's running Australia Zoo, and why Bob snr is estranged from his Grandkids wouldn't you say?

Naturalist, conservationist and television show host Terri Raines was born on July 20, 1964, in Eugene, Oregon.
Raines' family was in the trucking business, and her father often brought home injured animals that had been hit by his trucks.
In her early twenties, Raines opened a rehabilitation facility called Cougar Country that re-educated and released animals such as foxes, raccoons and bobcats back into the wild.
She also became a veterinary technician for a local emergency veterinary hospital.
In 1991, while visiting wildlife rehabilitation facilities in Australia, Terri met wildlife expert Steve Irwin, they married less than a year later.

A vet tech speaks at a medical school?
Why not? I can imagine some topics overlapping in both vet and human medical treatment. Possibly even just motivational or inspirational.
