Hi freddie,  There has been amazing improvement.

March 2014 he had 3 words, Mum, Dad and Bye. He made no sounds while playing. No singing.

9 months later and his vocab is huge. He still has some trouble with multi syllable words and also words that have two certain consonants together, like flap or strap. He says fap and stap.

To us, he talks perfectly now. We can understand everything he says but i find that i need to translate a bit when he is talking to others and i really notice he is behind when he is with other kids his age.

But his kindy and speech therapist are thrilled with his progress.

He now talks while he plays, even puts on different voices.

He told Santa what he wanted for Christmas (a bin truck) and even told him he'd leave a KFC bucket out for Santa to eat.

Im so proud of him. His tantrums are also much less as now he can communicate what he wants.

In fact, he never shuts up lol

Wow thats great, I was worried about this when you first spoke about it on here so happy to know  he's doing so well, no doubt further improvement will happen as he mixes more with other kids in play. Great news.....

His speechy believes he started therapy at the perfect age, because he was too young to understand that he had a problem and didnt understand when other kids rejected his attempts to play with them.

She said some kids who dont get diagnosed till 4 or 5 have kind of withdrawn and are much harder to help
