That's the problem, they become pets, you are supposed to be tough enough to chop off their heads and get new ones
why?
We have them because we are not going to by eggs from chooks that have suffered .. chopping their heads off simply because they don't lay is cruel and we won't be doing it.

Dunno, I think i would roast them. What do you do with hens that are too old, and wont lay anymore?

So went to the pet store to get a couple of dogs leads as we've misplaced ours since we moved - THIRTYFIVE DOLLARS?:|:O
