Now I have two little black australorp hens, about 13 weeks old.
They are still small but will grow over the next weeks to their 'real' size.
Should have eggs started in 4-6 weeks. They are sooo cute :-x
They should be thrilled with the two apple cores, and tomato and cucumber trimmings they will get for breakfast. ๐
One of my cats saw them and had twitchy tail syndrome, the other cat hasn't seen them yet.
I locked them into the nesting box just before dark.
I'm hoping the cats' presence will deter mice from trying to get into the grain feeder.
