"The jury in the murder trial of the man accused of killing Queensland teenager Daniel Morcombe has retired to consider its verdict.

Daniel was abducted and murdered on the Sunshine Coast in 2003 and his remains were found in nearby bushland in 2011.

Brett Peter Cowan, 44, has pleaded not guilty to murder, indecent treatment of a child, and interfering with a corpse."

I just turned it on.  How do you feel about cameras in courtrooms?  It is obviously rife in USA and other places, but we have not adopted it here to my knowledge.

as long as they don'r focus the cameras on the suffering friends and famiies i'm all for televising court cases such as this

I would prefer not to have them. It's bad enough that the media lie in wait outside.

I think the Judge has ruled no cameras.
