Back in CW days there was a thread devoted to Daniel's disappearance. From time to time, Denise would drop by. A lovely and brave woman.
I saw none either........it was a carry over comment, I think.

He took Detectives to the exact place where Daniels remains were found, seems unlikely if he was told this by the perpetrator he would be able to lead them to the exact spot.
I hope they do have the correct person.

Its amazing the psychic ability that the "innocent" can have. [insert rolling-eyes emoticon]

Hopefully, the evidence will speak for itself and the verdict will be swift and correct.
That seems a bit of a stretch given that he was able to lead the investigators to the site. It's not that easy to locate a small site with such accuracy based on a conversation. Who'd want to be his lawyer and have to do the best to get him off? Not me that's for sure.

It's concerning that the person he named was id'd (and his car) from the day it happened though.
Could they both be guilty?

I think they said the person he named wasn't in QLD when Daniel was abducted, I would assume his alabi checked out.

AFTER four weeks, 116 witnesses and 218 exhibits, Crown prosecutors have closed their murder case against Brett Peter Cowan...The final prosecution witness was Detective Senior Sergeant Stephen Blanchfield from Queensland's homicide investigation unit..."He said he was involved in a 2009 interview with convicted child rapist Douglas Jackway, who the defence say has a five and a half hour window that could not be accounted for the day Daniel went missing. Under cross-examination, Snr Sgt Blanchfield said he put to Jackway that he had lied in a previous version to police and Jackway agreed"..."He said there were no other reports or complaints about abduction or violence to children on the Nambour Connection Road on December 7, 2003"...

Thanks for that Az, that sure puts doubt in my mind.

I wonder, is he still to be investigated more? Added to that, Cowan said something during his "under cover" confession about the other person knows and isn't telling.
Too many people saw that blue car and 2 men.

I thought that the other person was dead...
