Chaos as twin blasts rock Boston Marathon

Two bombs have exploded near the finish of the Boston Marathon, killing two people, injuring scores of others and sending authorities rushing to help wounded spectators.

There was a large explosion and a white flash. It blew us all back onto each other. It was so loud, I still can’t hear out of my right ear. I was crawling on the sidewalk, and my cell phone blew out of my hand. There were some really hurt people.

The explosions occurred as recreational runners were finishing, at just before 3pm local time (5am AEST). Television footage shows two explosions occurring metres from each other near Copely Square as competitors crossed the finish line.

Runners fell to the ground, which flowed with blood. Police arrived with bomb-sniffing dogs and hotels were put on lockdown. Reports say as many as 90 people were wounded, with some having limbs blown off.

Freak, I don't think their parents live in US. There was some mention of an uncle, they may have been living with him.

This is what I have heard suspects have been in USA for 1 year 10 years 7 year, take your pick.

the uncle said he had not seen the boys for about 2 years because of family argument but said the dead suspect phones him and said sorry we have not been in touch, day after the bombing..

The father does not live in USA , there is also another brother living in USA .

They were Uni students, Suspect one was a very good Boxer had won golden gloves.

Suspect to was a good wrestler.

One o0f them did have a scholarship.

No they are not students Take your pick.

If a few thousand police cant find him I think he may be gone ????

I am just really sad for America right now...

We all like to think that us westernised countries don't have problems like this.. that it is what happens in "other" countries 

If it can happen there is can happen here.... 

This will change the whole of America forever.... and depending on the reasons behind these attacks it could be the start of divisions that may never heal.

They have not yet found the second man, but they have allowed the population out of their homes.  ??

Police have fired shots, but they could be shooting at any thing, still don't know who they are shooting at yet.

Ok so They have the suspect cornered now, could be over soon, they are firing gas at him.

One of the alleged bombers mother has said that it is all a setup and her son is innocent...  

I feel so sorry for the families on both sides... their lives will never be the same.

They said before the oldest brother was interviewed in 2011 by FBI on the request of a foreign country.

The youngest boy used to party and drink so not a Muslim, the oldest had stopped drinking an smoking.

The oldest brother had gone home for 6 months so they think that is where he turned radical

He is in a boat that is dry docked or on a trailer.

The way I hear it...The older brother was already radical, converted the younger brother and  

 the older brother went to Russia to learn how to build bombs.

I'm glad he's holding up in a boat and hasn't been holding a family hostage since last night. Either swat will take him out or he'll do himself in.

On a side note....one of them became a citizen on 9/11/2002. The store that caught them on film ....(Lord and Taylor)...their mother was caught shop lifting at one of their stores.
