Diary of our stinking Govt.

As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed.  The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.Woman Happy

This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.

and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says

The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.

Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).

But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.

"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

Re: Diary of our stinking Govt.

You cant criticise what this govt has or hasnt done in 16 months when labor did zero in 5 years.#

Oh yes I can, I am doing, and will continue to do.Woman LOL You can't tell other posters what they can't post about though.

Tony Abbott has been critiicsed non stop for what he has an hasn't done in the past 16 months, why do you think people/ backbenchers/MPs are saying he should step aside???????????????????????????????

Nothing to do with past Labor Govt the woes he has brought upon himself... did Labor try and knight a British Prince? rofl, which was the last straw for Abbott's captain's picks, most of the rest of those he has backflipped on (e.g.PPL).

The man is an embarrasment to himself and his country.

Where is Peta? Still his sidekick (The Boss as he calls her) or not?

Does Abbott think a publicity stunt of being at a childcare centre with his wife is going to make him Mr Popular or what???

Re: Diary of our stinking Govt.

Debra

Telstra was sold in 3 tranches, T1, T2, T3 at various intervals.

Those who purchased shares in T1 generally made money.

Shares in T2 were over priced and people didn't make or lost money.

Re: Diary of our stinking Govt.

Me too, this govt in 16 months is just dismantling everything that was done before them, thst's about all they've done. ridiculous!

I'm pretty sure they won't get the opportunity to keep doing it for 5 years either, 3 years will be the limit on their damage

Probably would. The previous Government used up the surplus. No safety net now.

Re: Diary of our stinking Govt.

Retires are also putting their cash into the share market as interest is so low, there's no point leaving it sitting in a bank
