As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed. The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.
This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.
and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says
The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.
Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).
But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.
"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

She prefers them as dead, drowned, part of the "accidnts happen", which is a direct quote when asked about the 1200 deaths.
Dead people dont cost money_______________________________________________________________________________________________The above in bold are lies.

Lies ?
Here is the quote which was journos quissing here.
At least Mark Latham seems to have got this right.
As news of the disaster broke, former Labor leader Mark Latham took aim at the Greens and the Labor Left, saying the "so-called compassionate" approach of onshore processing was causing deaths at sea. "You can't be compassionate and you can't have a good heart, you can't have a good soul, if you encourage people to get on boats that sink," Mr Latham told Sky's Australian Agenda.
"And people just need to understand that the real compassionate policy is to stop the flow of the boats."
Greens senator Sarah Hanson-Young yesterday stood by her party's policies.
Pressed on whether the Greens accepted responsibility for the tragedy, Senator Hanson-Young said:
"Of course not. Tragedies happen, accidents happen."
FACT
The Greens and Labor did not care about how many Asylum Seekers drowned,
AS LONG AS THE BOATS WERE ALLOWED TO KEEP COMING.

Now you are just in denial that she said that when it is quoted everywhere.
Some other choice words spoken about the Greens and Two Dads.
"The Greens always make sure that it is never their fault or responsibility."
She isn't know as a Psychopath or Australia's Dumbest Politician for nothing you know.
(Other people's words used to describe her, not mine).

Actually, I blame the "now" mind of people these days. Everything has to be now. No, I don't care, I want it now.
Basically parties are irrelevant. Not that it matters here.

That's your view, nevyn... just don't expect everyone else to hold the same one!
No use living in the past when the present Govt is disintegrating around us... be very strange if nobody wanted to talk about that, only harp on about Gillard & Rudd.
Do you think Rudd or Gillard made/influenced TA give Prince Philip a Knighthood? Or any of the other daft things he has done?

Except, where were your posts criticising Labour when the Rudd/Gilliard thing when down? Why are they not relevant now, in your opinion? Because they have shaped our country.
And, really, no one wanted to talk about it? Button pushing fixed anyone who tried.
