As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed. The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.
This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.
and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says
The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.
Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).
But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.
"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

Well, whenever you try to post about Abbott's disasters (your words), we will just keep reminding you that you lot
were not exactly a smooth sailing boat either. the leaking and sinking ships called Rudd and Gillard
Have a nice day
WHY? That's just disruptive and trolling type behaviour. There are hundreds of threads about how bad Gillard and Rudd were that can be used to attack Gillard and Rudd. This one is about the current govt not the previous.
It was a polite idea to keep all the griping about abbott and co in one thread rather than the dozen new ones that were posted each day about the previous govt. Why? because some posters dislike a dozen new political threads each day.
Btw, the you lot to whom you refer are not members of the current or previous govt. Are you old enough to understand the difference between personal and political conversations? There is no you lot. We are just random posters having a conversation.
It is not disruptive behaviour because BOTH sides have the right to post whatever rubbish they choose to.
Being nasty to those who don't share your political leanings just makes YOU someone not worthy of any attention.

I think Political donations and mining is a bit of a touchy subject in NSW at the moment.
"Labor refuses to repay donation from corrupt mining associate of Ian Macdonald"
Labor is refusing to return a $25,000 donation from a mining industry honcho who was found to be corrupt by the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption.
Donations data released by the Australian Electoral Commission this week shows Craig Ransley donated the money to the Queensland branch of the ALP.
Really, the standards the ALP stoop to is unbelievable

What were the names of those 10-12 LNP MP's & the odd senator or two, that were investigated for corruption by ICAC.. findings due out later this year.
Arthur Sinodinos was one. Him being the one who resigned as Asst Treasurer (due to ICAC delay in releasing its findings) and his resignation was leaked before he could announce it. He was rather cranky about that. Now telling the PM he doesn't have his conditional support... LOL
QLD LNP:
Campbell Newman became the first premier in 100 years to lose his own seat, leading his party into an electoral bloodbath with the loss of around 30 MPs.

Our local LNP member who I thought was a reasonable person, keeps adding Labor's fault.. Labor's fault in his statements... big black mark by his name now.
Its a disease and catching.!

Hypocrite much? Random? Yeah, sure.
And then there's the whole "are you old enough" post.
Disgraceful.
