Diary of our stinking Govt.

As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed.  The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.Woman Happy

This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.

and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says

The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.

Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).

But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.

"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

That fact about the Labor debt  is 100% true but we can always rely on the ABC to skew it out of context and the left to lap it up.

Re: Diary of our stinking Govt.

ABC's Insiders this morning finished with a clip of Shorten  (Leader of the Opposition?)  at a caucus meeting announcing:

"We will fight to the last drop of our breath the brutal attack on the poor in Australia"

One could be excused thinking that after the years of bloodletting prevalent in the days of the Circus, that today there is none left to give.

You mean media that is not totally left biased like unfairfax and the Age and all the other Trotsky rags.

Well no, I read widely and comprehensively and I never take anything the ABC regurgitates as truth.

Funny how the left rage against any media that is not of the left. They did it through the hell of Rudd/Gillard/Rudd and now they are doing it with a different government in power. Never satisfied and the old mantra is tired and useless, comrades, get another rant, read from another song book it may lighten your life a bit.

Re: Diary of our stinking Govt.

Could say the same for any one that C&P's articles & graphs.

As this thread is called Diary--- seems natural to regularly post the current doings of the current Govt here...including c&p's.

Speaking generally, what I find really 'mindless' is when in so called 'opinion posts full of so called 'original thoughts'.. is the lack of any info that supports the wild assumptions and/or gross generalisatons in the posts.

Give me a c&p anyday compared to unverified info being posted as fact.

See you tomoz, with some new c&p's  from Monday's news (after lunch).

Re: Diary of our stinking Govt.

I don't agree with your assessment of my post. Do you have any constructive contributions to add here, about the current Govt (or a past one if you insist)?

Appear to have a 'follower' now.
