As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed. The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.
This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.
and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says
The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.
Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).
But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.
"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

Gosh there is a lot of record searching going on!
2006 when Abbott was Minister of Health? I thought that was in the forbidden history period, and why did the Circus Clowns not publish then, this so very important document?
Whilst I often point out that both gangs would appear to like the odd dip in the "cookie jar", the ALP/ACTU luminaries do have an advantage, because in some cases they can, depending on their background, milk their trade union members and not the taxpayer.
It keeps it in the family, well actually more so: keep it in my pocket after I have removed it from yours!
Considering the importance of these regurgitated claims from years ago, and the "concern" (??) that is being expressed as to their contents, and if parliamentary practices and procedures are now understood, might I suggest a glance, or two at Senators and Members' Entitlements >> Travel HERE .

If that attempt at mockery or sarcasm is directed at me you can return the favour and use the correct username. Don't worry about the number, Gleee will do.

oops !!!
This photo has been doing the rounds:
Looks like Tony Abbott is getting a good eyeful. Small problem – the photo is fake. Here is the original.
Check out the bust line in this photo.
Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to smear both Fiona Scott and Tony Abbott.
they did a really good job but when you look
closely, you can pick a few mistakes.
Hoax: The original photo showed Australian politicians Tony Abbott and Fiona Scott looking into each other’s eyes. It has been manipulated to have him stare at her cleavage (and her real dress was much less revealing). The photoshopped version of the image has been shared online by a famous Australian media personality, Tracey Spicer, in the middle of the “Winkgate”, a scandal surrounding Australian Prime minister Tony Abbott, who winked while a listener on a radio show was telling him she had to work on a sex hotline to survive.
