As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed. The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.
This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.
and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says
The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.
Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).
But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.
"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

What were you expecting?
Nothing from TA, I didn't vote to put his party in so he could become PM.
He should be able to communicate with his cabinet, exhibit good leadership skills, and not be such a big dufus though ( too many backflips as well).

Oh, just like Rudd and Gilliard did?
Take the blinkers off, they are all cut from the same cloth. None of them are holy

And he promised to stop them, which he did. That was a major factor.

I don't care what Rudd or Gillard did, only the LNP supporters want to talk about those two all day and blatantly ignore Abbott's diasters..
I am interested n the current Govt & the current PM. Therefore I am not going to be mentioning Rudd or Gillard in EVERY post I make.
Show me where I have ever posted that Rudd or Gillard were the bests PMs???????? No blinkers on to take off.

Why do you only care about the Libs? because you're a Labour supporter. Own it. And it's past, because it's shaped our future.

In a thread where most posts are about issues with the Abbott Govt, the replies that always refer to Gillard and Rudd, instead of the issues of the day.. are simply trying to deflect attention from Abbott's disasters, dud policies, foot in mouth sydnrome, gaffes, backflips etc etc.
Otherwise you all must like Gillard & Rudd so much you can't stop talking about them.
The only leftie tag I admit to is being left-handed.
I think TA is hopeless, the Budget was a fail and its been all down hill from there.

Your opinion only.
It has been widely reported in mainstream media... that Abbott only got in simply because he wasn't Gillard or Rudd.
