Only saw the last few minutes, so don't know what happened, but, I literally did not recognise her till I heard her talk and then it took a little bit to sink in it was Tracey.
She has blonded her hair, which was not styled at all, like left to dry naturally. Not a skerrick of makeup.
So, was curious if she explained the reason for her appearance, like she was interiewing flood victims etc and had no time to prepare etc?
Trivial I know, still does not stop me being amazed she went on tellie like a normal person! Oh, and she was wearing like a beach cover up type top. So weird...

I think pollies, on all levels, and those in the media just need to be seen doing what they consider the right thing. If only they knew how much people want them to just do their job instead of *currying favour*

Our Ipswich Mayor is allways out with the people AZ. He's really well liked by the people of Ipswich and most of us know him personally because of his down to earth nature. Unlike the Premier our Mayor has been in that position for a very long time.
I have spent the day watching the Bremer river slowly rise into my back yard, totally trapped in from all area's yet wondering how the firies managed to drive around checking up on us all. Making sure we were safe and wouldn't need evacuating as our river was about to peak. I felt totally reassured by that. Because I was about ready to evacuate with the girls.
I can only imagine how people would feel having our Mayor, Paul, helping them out today as well, and reassuring them.

Thanks Nev. Hope she goes back. My mum is slowing going blonde to cover the grey better. Looks weird on her too!
Aaaaahhhhh don't say that! That's what I'm doing. I don't think it look weird :_|
You're not related to me are you? :^O

A rain coat? Or is this a criticism of a larger woman finding stylish clothes difficult to find? Even if she had been "made up", the look wouldn't last long in the rain and the wind.

I used to live at Ipswich, and my daughter is living there now. Mayor Paul is perhaps one of the best things about Ipswich, he is always there when the chips are down, showing support and compassion. He stands up for his city and works darned hard in his role, above and beyond that of many other mayors. I think it's wonderful to see him out there, giving support and comfort to the residents, even if it's only a hug or pat on the back.
My daughters best friend had to evacuate and will find out this morning if her home in Ipswich went under. The river was in her backyard around 6pm last night, but as there was another peak at midnight she doesn't know how her home fared. If flooded out then this is the second time in as many years.
I say Paul Piscale [?unsure of his spelling] does a wonderful job. His love of his city truly shows.

As a woman of 53 I personally think she looks years younger, always dresses nicely and her looks have blossomed with the years.
Her hair has been many shades of various colours over the years....something most of us do I suppose. Blond is a colour seen on her many times.

There's nothing liks a weather event to bring out the politicians is there.
Anna Bligh milked the floods for all its worth, not thet it did her any good. Gillard went up there but was so wooden & apathetic everyone wanted her gone & now she's been down the bushfire area doing staged caring shots but no sign of her in Qld this time.
The media have been appalling in their salivating eagerness to insert themselves in there purely for ratings or a Walkley at the end of it all.
Grimshaw is a media dolly put out there by the channel & staged to make out they all care so much.
Anybody who falls for anything on ACA or TDT or the Project are gullible.
