and now the hard part begins ..... the last boy (pale blue)...... we had 3 people interested in him... they were all very suitable ..... it came down to first in first served ..... it's always difficult and we always have this problem ... someone has to lose out .... so it came down to first deposit ......
I hate to disappoint people who have gone to all the trouble to respond to our questionnaire - and they lose out by 35 minutes :_|
I just gave Bella a squeeze ... but no more pups ....;-)

Bella's retiring now rabbit? that sounds like she might be relieved ๐
Yes awful to miss out by 35 minutes.. very disappointing, but what can you do?
I had a distressing time when I lost my first poodle. I was so keen to get another and found a registered kennel in Launceston. Emailed and got to know the woman well. Her little girl was pregnant and I would be able to have a female providing, of course, there was a female in the litter.
Anyway a couple of weeks later she rang me in tears... the little mother had become ill and it was discovered one of the pups had died, thus giving her blood poisoning... it meant the other pups had to be delivered and of course they were too young to survive... she was heart broken and so was I, it was awful... The woman retired her girl.
She put me onto another kennel who had the same stud for their lass. She delivered successfully and after having to wait such a long time I finally got my Gem... she was the first in Tasmania to not have her tail cut off, she went with her siblings to the vet wearing a white ribbon on her tail ๐ .. just shortly after the law came in banning it.
Sorry, just waffling on... your pups reminded me ๐

"I hate to disappoint people .... I just gave Bella a squeeze ... but no more pups .." ..... that was my attempt at humour ...
Yes, she'll be retiring now. Some breeders get rid of their 'old girls' to make room for young ones but I couldn't do that ... Bella is such a wonderful girl. We won't have any more after these two are gone. Still, never say never I suppose.

You must find it hard, I could never do it I don't think, I would wind up with dog's everywhere. We have a Labrador - 3 years old and as a pup he was a ball of cuteness like your little darling rotti's. :-x Chin up rabbit, they will be well oved I am certain.
