My best friend growing ups father was a policeman, he used to bash her mother frequently, he was good at it, bruises down the back (hidden), you would never know it or believe it at the time..........another friend of mine has been the recipient of police brutality in custody in qld, it was EXTREME.

It does happen siggie, it does happen and they need to be held accountable.

You asked earlier why I mentioned Dick Smith, I mentioned it because it is silly to blame ALL sellers on eBay for their poor performance, just as it is to blame the entire police force for police brutality which does exist.

So you are biased and unable to see this case for what it is....

Nope, try and read what I am writing, never did I say he was innocent of the crime, I said he didn't have legs and he wash bashed by a policeman.

You have given the reason for your  prejudice.......

I agree with the police using necessary force to make an aggressive nutter put his hands behind his back to get hand cuffs on.

If he complied with their requests, we wouldn't even had heard about it.

I have given you a couple of examples of the bad behaviour of 2 policemen. I can give you hundreds of examples of bravery too if you prefer? Or you could simply read what I write instead of jumping to conclusions and making wild accusations that I am somehow biased because I call it as I see it.

Do you suggest people with prosthetic limbs don't break the law?

No, I have never done that, I suspect the percentages are about the same as the general public. I have also heard references to the offenders in this particular incident using ice.

No idea if it is correct.

Nobody is suggesting that, Donna. There are rogues in every organisation.

You're basing this thread on a video which only partially shows the event. Have you seen all of the video?

Your presenting all cops as corrupt and violent because your best friends copper dad used to bash her mum?

Men from all walks of life bash their wives.

Does that make your husband a wife-basher?

The majority of police officers a committed to their duty of upholding law and order, and I have every respect for them.
