Yes, I really stupid question just like the one about having no legs and being exempt from criminal activity.

Your argument that all police are  corrupt and/or incompetent because you've seen an incomplete video of police officers using force to  control a known criminal who happens to be an amputee - has no legs either

I wonder how the thief in this story will defend his behaviour in court.

If he is a queenslander he would be wise to get behind the message that one punch can kill  campaign 🙂 He has the opportunity to be the victim now because of one very stupid policeman.

surely you aren't that naive!!

lets just see how many of those assault charges hold up in court.

its a well known fact that they pile heaps of charges on (usually assaulting police and resisting arrest) and bargain down so they end up getting the conviction for the one or two provable offences and save money in court costs and get commendations for their arrest/conviction ratios.

Another response by someone who has clearly not read my posts. How on earth you can equate one incident and several comments about it into all police are corrupt is truly amazing Smiley LOL

and a lot worse, in fact the very worst offence in the book.

But no-one has said that they are all criminals and thugs, just because some are.

That seems to be what you're implying.

You still haven't answered the question as to whether you've seen the entire video or not. I may have missed it.

Not at all, simply stating the fact on display in the video and repeated frequently enough to get the jist of, feel free to read what you want to read into what I write, it's incorrect though. This isn't a thread about how wonderful the police force are and can be, it's about one incompetent one.

From the link in Donna's OP:

Police also said the man and woman are facing a range of charges, including entering a premise with intent, stealing, seriously assaulting police and obstructing police.
