This would never have happened in the days of Sir Joh (instert sarcasm here)

that is probably because she has legs?

That was rough too, she could have spun into a disabled person, hit her head on the table, maybe she was stronger than the policeman?

Or maybe she bit the policeman and that is how he got her to dislodge

If these people were really stealing, i doubt they have much ground to stand on in court. Any unjustified action the cop or cops may have been involved in is gonna be seen by the jury that they had it comin and deserved it, legs or not.
,
Heres the thing though, and now i'm speaking from personal experance. If a cop says i've done something, writes it on a report, true or not, then no one is gonna believe otherwise. Police follow me into places to try and have me banned. Some will take a cop's word and ban me, or trespass me offically, others don't because they actually want to catch me in the act, welcoming me in their place of business and watching me closely, there's even some that know me well enough to know the police are lying or full of it, but still claim it's my own fault or i must be bringing it on myself. I don't know how i would fare in a jury trial, they always dismiss the case to avoid having to give me one. After they stretch it out as long as possible causing me to make a trip to court a couple dozon times waiting hours each time. This after whatever torture and abuse they subject me to in jail. I now have a very long arrest record and no convictions.
All I can say for sure is that all the police here in Ohio, on a local level,, are corrupt and the county sheriffs are sadistic perverts. ALL OF THEM..
From instances of other victims like John, and Kelly, i believe it's a growing problem. Does power corrupt?, I don't want to believe so. I like to think that some can handle the power without abusing it, but I don't see any of those people wearing badges. maybe some slip thrugh the cracks, but as soon as they have to show that they are good people, they are declared unfit for duty and lose their job. Regina Taska is one such example of this. Good people can't be cops, so this beating on a disabled person shouldn't be a shock to anyone's system.

Still no need to throw her, there were several officers there to restrain her without throwing her against the table.

It won't be a jury trial and the actions of the police will not be taken into account.
There is apparently no doubt they took the alcohol (CCTV) and resisted arrest so they appear before the court and their legal representative will make some excuses for them and they will get a speech from the Judge or magistrate and a good behaviour bond/suspended sentence and the shopping centre will put them on a list of banned customers, from that centre.
The they will sue the police for unnecessary force and the tax payers will pay for it.

I have bullet hole stickers on my caravan, on hubbys bike helmet and on a car.
The t-shirts have absolutely nothing to do with this thread.
See my post 183.
It's hypocritical to think it's ok to market toddler's t-shirts with bullet holes printed on the back, implying violence against children, but then crying police brutality when violence is used to subdue an out of control and abusive offender.
i think you were just looking for something, anything, to discredit her and her opinion of this incident and you remembered those tshirts and thought 'aha! gotcha!' and went with that. .
its just nonsense.
This whole thread is nonsense.
Donna picked up a video on youtube which appeared to illustrate police brutality but without further context , had an "aha gotcha moment" and thought she'd use it to stir up a bit of anti-police sentiment on these boards. For reasons of her own, no doubt.

Actually, I was reading the news lol.
I'm a bit concerned about my corner shop selling cigarettes when it is known to kill people, the shop owners seem awfully nice 🙂

I will repeat, hospital staff are confronted with angry, sometimes drug induced extremely violent people every day. They do not throw patients around, they do not punch patients, they do not drag them along the ground, they do not knee them in the liver or kidneys, they do not shoot them.

This thread is just a vehicle for someone with a personal hatred of the police to vent their prejudice...no doubt others see it as well.
I also think others are encouraging the OP to see how deep that hatred runs. She will no doubt deny it...... but she can't hide it.
