How comforting for his family to know that
I doubt that very much. Nor would his behaviour at the time have made them feel comforted:
"The inquest heard Mr Curti had consumed about a third of a tab of acid, LSD, on March 17 this year, the night before he died.
Medical experts will give evidence that this was not the cause of his death but did contribute significantly to his "advanced and abnormal mental state" which led to his irrational fear that people were trying to kill him.
On the morning of his death, about 4.30am, Mr Curti phoned his sister who lives in Australia and asked her: "Why are you trying to kill me?"
He was obviousy going through a psychotic episode, and it's well known ppl in that state are very hard to subdue.

Police officer Bryson Anderson killed in knife attack in western Sydney A FEUD over a bird aviary is alleged to have sparked the violent altercation which led to the death of 45-year-old Insp Anderson.
Why is it that when a cop gets killed, it's a much much bigger tragody than any other person being killed. Same true for just hitting a cop, it certainly carrys a much more harsh punnishment. Giving people the impression that their own lives don't hold near the value as a cop's.
Why is it that with all the lies police tell, that they are so credible in so many people's eyes. in fact courts have rulled in favor of cops lying as a practice to get a conviction or confession. It's legal where as anyone else doing so would be pergery. A cop lied about me blocking traffic and a hospital puts it in their records as fact. Any lie detector (polygraph) test would show i'm telling the truth, or possibly proove the cop is lying.
Some people aren't affected by tasering.
I don't know, ive heard of arguments on both sides but if it's not effective on everyone, then why have tasers at all? I certainly would not use it not knowing if it might kill someone or just get them angry.
Kelly Thomas was tasered many times until the taser ran out of juice then he was beaten over the head with it. I watched the video over and over, relating to it, thinking that could easally be me. Cops say they couldn't get his hands behind his back to cuff him. I know what it's like to be face down on the blacktop with two or more people's weight on top of me. Kelly's hands were pinned beneath him, he couldn't move them, from the looks of his face OMG, it was smashed hard down on the blacktop.
You have a right to your beliefs about police being such great heros as much as i have the experance that disputes it. Even I must admit that all police are not all that bad all the time. But it does sometimes feel like I'm on the worst end of the worst of them most times. And i suppose if I was not such a victim of their abuse, i might see things your way. But if you had half the dealings with them i have, you would just about have to see things diffrently. Your just lucky in that respect, as many are.
