Re: Discontent in the Liberal Party

Discontent further developed by the sacking of Phil Ruddock as Chief Gov Whip, replaced by some non-entity, and the elevation of Abbott's acolyte Nikolich (one of Abbott's types, loyal to a fault, ex-military hard man lol) to a Whip position.

Disgraceful, vengeful and opportunistic behaviour by Abbott (not that I had much time for Ruddock, but he was treated abominably in this case).  Sadly par for the course for Abbott - a bitter, vindictive man.

A whip-cracking Whip.   What infantile Advisor-brain thought to "showcase his talent"?

He is, and he will set out to punish them all, without any idea that his behaviour will bring himself down.

Nikolic is a nasty type.  He's one who walked out on the Closing the Gap speech a few days ago.

I've seen some vile facebook posts he's made to potential voters who dared to question him.

Re: Discontent in the Liberal Party

I worked with him (thankfully not for), he was an arrogant man then, and it appears that his sense of entitlement hasn't changed.

He'll go far in the LNP.

He moved to Tasmania before the last election preselections and immediately began to attack his way into office.

But who were the dissenters?

It is my understanding that it was a Secret Ballot.
