Simone, is that the Singaporean triple tower building?  I saw a TV show recently which showed the construction of the site.  Three teams built the towers "in a race".  Apparently,  the bridging across the top was an engineering feat.

My first time posting here, hi everyone!

I looked at the Building photo thread, very amazing photos! I'm almost hesitant to post any of mine which are just OK.

I seen mention of the photo thread loading slowly....yah it did that for me too. My guess is that photos hosted on a photo storage site might be loaded at full size and take up a lot of bandwidth.

I'm pretty sure that if you use ebay to load your pictures, ebay will automatically down scale the resolution by compressing the photos, but the photos still look the same to the naked eye.

BTW, I'm called RulesSmiley Happy

It's no big deal, Rosie...........no more a coincidence than two strangers from Geelong meeting at a petrol station in Crater Lake National Park in the US.

,,,,loaded at full size and take up a lot of bandwidth.

None of my photos from Photobucket exceed their size constraints, so there goes that theory.

I resize photos from my computer to conform with eBay's rules..........

Apparently lots of folks over here use mobile devices to log on........

Band, I didn't mean you specfically. I meant folks in general who use photobucket, etc, sometimes upload to ebay full size photo files.

I would think the mobile devices might have a faster internet connection than the average computer. I have a slower DSL connection so some pages take a while to load for me, but not a big deal.

Photobucket has, or at least had constraints on file size...........I believe it was a max of 800 pixels in width. I have used them since I first signed on with eBay, and I had dial-up then........you want to check out your loading speed, try post 101.......Smiley Very Happy

Rules, so far the posters have been really nice here. I do believe that they really like all photo contributions.

Nobody is going to criticize your photos. Some of the pictures are fun, and meant to entertain. Joz cracks me up every week.

... and if you don't want to post pics on the challenge thread, there is another photo thread, where anything goes.

I've been trying to learn more about my camera, and other tips over on that thread.
