Discussion thread for Building Photo Challenge

Simone, is that the Singaporean triple tower building?  I saw a TV show recently which showed the construction of the site.  Three teams built the towers "in a race".  Apparently,  the bridging across the top was an engineering feat.

Tcm....was this in Maine? It reminded me of the icecream stand we stopped at in New Hampshire. I couldn't believe all the great flavors they have out there, one stand had over a 100 to choose from. And so many stands. I told Lloyd I might just move back there for the rum raisin. Smiley Happy

Yes, in Maine. We got there early, looked around before it opened, turned around, and the line was a mile long.

Re: Discussion thread for Building Photo Challenge

No, not Wally. I went and looked at it again though to see if there was a small dog or something that I might not have noticed when I took the picture. lol

Hmmm... just a Wally impersonator.  It looks like an upside down Wally.

Re: Discussion thread for Building Photo Challenge

Band, Pod did take the wires off for me on the photo thread, but I didn't want to post something that another person tweaked for me.

I tried to use that LUNAPIC site that artful suggested, but I couldn't figure it out. There was a smart want, but it only faded the wires.

I've got a looong way to go. I love to take photos, but that is the extent of my abilities.

Re: Discussion thread for Building Photo Challenge

Band,

If so, what are the odds of two photos of the same subject in California being posted on an Australian board?

I can tell you it is a co-incidence. I am Australian so yes I post on this board but have been to the US about 3 or 4 times.

I have been away on holidays, came back last week and have been flat out babysitting and building a house so very limited time here, when I saw the new thread was Buildings I decided not to look at any photo's and just post mine because I did not want to purposely post what others may have.

I am still not looking at the photo's but happened to fly past your comment, saw there was no photo and decided to answer your question. So there you have it.

I think it is a very cool coincidence. Hey, I've posted a couple of pictures of Kangaroos on this board, and they certainly don't live near me. 😉

Lol,  TCM.  I am dying to have a look at the photos and I normally do but this time I decided not to. I'll post a couple others and then go and have a look.
