Re: Discussion thread for Metal Photo Challenge

HI Brightton, this explains what the birds mean plus other parts.

I wonder if it would be an idea if people could put where the photo was taken (if they remember) , what the name is, (if there is a name), not if it's just a shed in a paddock or a dog, cat or sheep but with photo's like the one TCM posted a few hrs ago of the rusting ship, I'm often intrigued where some of these things are.

Re: Discussion thread for Metal Photo Challenge

That wreck is in Maui. Taken off a Zodiac(boat) snorkeling trip. A poster on the U.S. board made a snarky comment to me yesterday, pertaining to my pictures here. So, I was trying to just post a picture, and go along my merry way.

I really love that bird memorial picture, rose. I'll try to remember to put a brief description of where the pictures were taken.

Thanks TCM. Pfft to the snarky comment, I love to know where some of these things and places are. Maui, haven't been there......yet, lol. One day perhaps.

Re: Discussion thread for Metal Photo Challenge

I have looked at your interesting subjects/photos Roserobin.

Perhaps everybody  would indicate what/where we are "seeing" in the challenge entries.   Is that an engine in some sort of museum? .   And that bridge intrigues me.

Re: Discussion thread for Metal Photo Challenge

Just had a close look at Pimpy's brass tap photo.

Observation:  cobweb from the spout, and an insect sitting atop the handle, and judging by the the shadow the spout faces north.

I can feel a story coming.Smiley Happy

Re: Discussion thread for Metal Photo Challenge

My left ankle. It was dislocated and broken in three places so I now have 16 pieces of metal holding it all together.I broke the other ankle at the same time but that healed nicely with just a cast. It was while I was incompacitated that I started posting on Chin Wag...
