Do I Need to Panic

Since last yesterday afternoon I have been getting a hot throbbing, stabbing pain in my leg just below my knee. 

What could be causing it ??

Do I need to see a Doctor no ??

Please do as others have said and get to the doctor.  I would also be taking some asprin now if it were me.

My friend had a blood clot and it can get very serious very quickly.  I'm not saying that is what it is but please go today.

She was a regular on the boards many years ago, she passed away after having a blot clot move from her leg to her heart.

Yes, my first thought was a Blood Clot.

Definitely get it looked at asap.

my first thought too grandmoon.   get thee to a physician ASAP!! and take an aspirin too.  can't hurt.  then again might break it up and lots of littlies will move through your blood system....just go to the nearest hospital please?

Cut it off and that will fix the pain but dont forget to put a tortique around the leg above the area before you slice.

I really hope you did nothing apart from going to the ED, it's what they're there for. And I hope you're okay.
