No?
What about the ones on your feet?
Studies have revealed that it's more dangerous than driving barefoot than to drive with thongs.
Yumi and Sami said so on this morning's breakfast show.
I have a special pair of flats that I keep in my car to drive in. I used to drive to work in my high heels but found not only was I gouging a big hole into the carpet, but scuffing the backs of my good shoes.
If I kicked off my shoes to drive in stockinged feet the tiny little bits of grit in the carpet woud ladder my panty-hose.
So now when I get into my car I kick off my shoes and put on my driving flats. When I get out of the car I kick off the flats and slip back into my heels.
Now I'm in a routine, it works well for me.

i have noticed people changing shoes at car parks etc .women mostly of course.. so i guess you aren't the only one. luckily being a male i can simply wear comfortable shoes and don't need to change.

Wow!
I only recently started wearing thongs again after about 20 years. It took me ages to harden up between the toes again!

Havaianas are so soft and easy to wear ๐

Ditto Twinkles. I don't wear thongs but if I did I wouldn't drive in them for safety reasons.

thongs tend to get caught under the pedals so I don't drive in them. I like to wear them around the house though, easy to slip in and out of them.
