He doesn't remember seeing the menu at the charity event he was guest of honour at?

For a man that loves his food I am absolutely sure he would have glanced at the menu, it would also have been a huge talking point, amazing it has not leaked earlier - just goes to show the people that attended have absolutely no decorum - it is just not funny at all.

Hot topic at the fundraiser, did he have ear muffs on too?
Your thread question is about JH seeing the menu or not.

So JH turns up for a dinner a couple of months ago and there was a childish menu "circulating" which he had absolutely nothing to do with, but might have read. He also has stated that "It is offensive and inappropriate whenever it was put out and it is now,"
Obviously guilt by association, however tenuous, no appeal, we are not amused, off with his head.
And the next DY target is ????????????

DY, you and LL should team up in target shooting competitions.

No John, the reason the chef came out and exposed the menu is because of Hockeys comments about Julia Gillard last night. Defend Hockey all you like, not a good look
Good on the chef I say
Did the chef specifically say that he saw JH read the menu or simply just say he was present at that function?

The menu was first posted by a Brisbane chef who claimed he used to work at the unnamed restaurant which hosted the Liberal National Party soiree and a staff member who was catering the dinner had taken a photo of the menu.

The telling point is that while there were sly digs at Simon Crean and (collectively) the Greens, the only person singled out for disparaging references to their physical appearance was Julia Gillard. Irrespective of what your politics are, I don't see how any self respecting woman could vote for Mal Brough after reading that menu.
And when a dinner menu is used to make derogatory comments about a woman's personal appearance then it is an insult to ALL women not just the one named.
