He doesn't remember seeing the menu at the charity event he was guest of honour at?

For a man that loves his food I am absolutely sure he would have glanced at the menu, it would also have been a huge talking point, amazing it has not leaked earlier - just goes to show the people that attended have absolutely no decorum - it is just not funny at all.

So has anyone verified the authenticity of the menu? So far all we have is people saying they never saw it, don't we? And one lone unnamed chef who claims he did.
Miranda Devine said she was stunned that Mal Brough confirmed it.

The photo was originally posted by Twitter user xxxxxx (name in article) who gave his name only as “Dave” when contacted by The Australian Financial Review. He said he had seen the image on the Facebook page of another employee from the restaurant and decided to share it on the social network.
“I just copied it. I tried to tweet it after the function, to send it to Julia Gillard, the Labor party, [Sky news presenter] Peter Van Onselen and Kevin Rudd, my local member, but I didn’t get a reply from any of them. I don’t know if they were too busy to notice them at the time,’’ he said.
“Dave” has subsequently clarified on Twitter that he did not attempt to contact Mr Rudd.
Restaurant manager Josephine, who didn’t provide her last name, has confirmed the fundraiser took place on March 28 but said it was a private function and would provide no further information.

what to expect from someone named after a cigarette. at least he doesn't do things by halves, sends a rent boy in to trap slipper and make's tasteless remarks about the Pm's body
and genital area. he's the future of this country ? he's the epitome of the Right.

It's incredible isn't it freaki?
It is obscene what was on the menu - they aren't even showing it on the news.
Don't be a doubting Thomas Crikey. They have been caught out!
So why the thread just focussing on one person who may or may not have read it.?

What the hell has army boots got to do with depicting the PM as having a fat thighs and a big red box?
Are you acting dumb, or deliberately insulting females for fun?
I think he really, genuinely doesn't get it, Freaki - and that's what is worrying.

Who has been caught out?
There are only so many places in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast that can cater for a private function of 20 people of that standard.
What chef in their right mind would commit professional suicide by disclosing that menu? He will never be able to use that place on a resume, and a place like that, you really do want to include. Plus he hasn't just come from nowhere, he has worked his way into a position like that, so now every other place he has also worked at is also in the firing line.
The competitors would be naming and shaming and pointing the finger to protect their own reputation, even if the place that held the function was adopting a line of discretion. That restaurant will be crucified. If not in the media, certainly by industry insiders.
So far all we have is sensationalized hearsay with only one "unidentified" person having "seen" the menu.
LOL - how many restaurants would have a manager called Josephine - not hard to work out which one, eh?

Isn't he denying that he saw it?
Who is it that is denying that they saw the menu?
