Your best friend.
See I don't, I can't talk to him the same way as I would talk to a woman.
He wants to fix my problems, where a woman will let you vent and understand why you are actually venting.

I used to....
but some women are like that too, they have the answer for you and expect you to do it.

Nope.
He's a useless listener. And he probably thins the same as me - I zone out when he drones on and odd about carp.

None of that last sentence made sense did it? Here is again:
He's a useless listener. And he probably thinks the same about me - I zone out when he drones on and on about carp.

Crystal, you have unwittingly hit the nail on the head
When a woman unloads to a man, his interpretation is that she wants him to fix it.
When a woman unloads to a woman, that woman knows she is just unloading.

I can talk to Kieran about anything but I don't always want to. It helps to have a woman's perspective.
I learnt in my first marriage that if I need to vent I just say "Babe, I dont need you to solve it, I just need to have a bitch". And he is usually cool about it.
