Do you do Valued Opinion Surveys?

A friend got me onto them a month ago. At first I was receiving surveys every day and quickly accrued $19. You need $20 to request a gift voucher. Then I tried to update my profile and suddenly I was blocked from the site for 'fraudelent activity'. WT???

An email or two later, they re-instated me (still don't know what I'd done wrong) but ever since then I haven't qualified for one survey! It's been a couple of weeks.

I WANT TO EARN A $1 SO I CAN CLAIM MY GIFT CARD! Woman Mad

And yes I've emailed them 3 times. *sigh* They advise helpful things like clear your cookies.

I'm starting to think it must be rigged when you are so close to getting to $20, although my friend and her mother haven't had any problems and seem to be on their third gift voucher within 6 months.

I do understand they probably want high end salary people (with the money to spend) to answer their surveys but if I was making a high end salary I wouldn't be spending my time doing piddly surveys!

Re: Do you do Valued Opinion Surveys?

I really tried with them for about 2 months, I never even made enough for 1 voucher to be sent.  And they say it will take you 25 minutes to complete the survey but it's always more like 45-55 minutes (for me it was anyway). And some of the questions are so vague and mindnumbing.  I'm glad I unsubscribed.

Really it averages out at about $5 an hour.  I can make more money on eBay and it's much more enjoyable work IMO.

I've also noticed it takes far longer to complete the surveys than they advertise and I'm super fast on the keyboard.

True. I notice questions which ask occupation/position you hold.. like CEO etc, and salaries range choice that is $150 000 ++.. that is exactly what I thought -  what CEO would be spending 25 mins trying to earn $3 in points.

To Cat and am, I've also wondered that on several occasions filling out the "personal details" part of these surveys.

I also tried the competitions.  For a while there I was filling out everything that popped up.  It actually started on eBay after a paypal transaction.  There was a prompt to win a $1000 Coles voucher or something like that.  I clicked on it.  Then I must've filled in well over 100 more similar competitions.  The offers that you need to accept or decline just started getting longer and longer.  Such a waste of time.

Although I have heard of people who have won decent prizes, all I won was a spammed out email address and a nasty online casino virus on my machine lol
