I've learnt to laugh at cyber stalking

how can you be sure you're being stalked?

when an anonymous person escalates their stalking & seeks out your details & sends you hate mail.  I have kept it just in case I decide to report it to the proper authorities, I just keep in mind that the person who sent it obviously has some very serious problems

but it's a bit of worry when someone takes cyber stalking to the extreme & into RL

Yes I have, had nasty letters put in letter box, it was around the time my son passed away & I gave the letter to the police working on his case.

They tracked the culprit down and went to see this person and I never got another letter.

Recently we had to get a silent number for the phone, as someone, have no idea who, kept ringing, it was the same number everytime, got so bad we left the answering machine on all the time, the person would ring, never leave a message........now only 3 people have the ## and it is so peaceful.

OH rang the # that kept ringing, and they would hang up, when hubby spoke.....

It does happen.

I was stalked here  ( It went on for a long time. I had a life time intervention order put in place 5 years ago.

Sometimes ignoring them doesn't work.
