surely the police or phone company knew who it was if they didn't block the number?

I am not worried about cyber stalking, it's when it escalates to personal/real life stalking I would be concerned. If someone was interested enough to cyber stalk me, I would wonder what on earth was interesting enough to get their attention.

I can't see myself being so interested as to phone someone and hang up, knock on their door, drive by their house even. (or look it up on google earth!) or go to their work place. Heck, I don't even check out my friend's fb pages unless they invite me to!

I think ignore is the best, sad to think of some one doing this

My husband reported the phone calls to the company we are with, they said to leave it with them and said they would give as a silent #

Whether they looked into it or not I dont know, doesnt matter now as we have this new number.

LOL Yes, the best one was when I put a photo on ebay and they thought they could see my reflection in the chrome work of a hot rod hahaha

Years ago I had someone phoning several times a day.  If I or OH answered they just hung up, but if it was one of my kids they started asking questions about where I was and what I was doing etc.  We got an answering machine and screened all calls after that.

Another time we had a series of sympathy cards hand delivered into our mail box.  Probably about half a dozen over a couple of weeks.  Nothing written on them, and no one had died.  That was wierd.

Last year I was getting calls on my mobile from some girl who seemed to think I was preventing her from speaking to (I think) her ex.  She told me she was next door and watching me! (not the case).  I told her I was keeping a record of all the calls and if she rang again I was taking it to the poice.  That seemed to stop her.

I seem to attract wierdos somehow LOL

I don't know, I reckon that's sort of trivial stuff, (even silly) in comparison to someone actually going to the trouble of finding your name & address and posting you a letter, just because they don't like you or you don't have anything to do with them or whatever LOL

That's just weird.  A lot of the time the stalking accusations here are just imagination.  I've seen people accuse others of stalking them just because they have disagreed with a person a few times and venture into the same sort of threads as the accuser.

Í agree freaky, it's weird. I wasn't sure what to do about it at first, but I did inform the mods here and sent them a copy as I thought they should be aware of it in case anything else were to happen.
