I think I'm dyslexic with numbers. No matter how hard I tried, as a child and an adult, to learn my multiplication tables I just don't seem to retain the numbers. I also can't remember how to do division and %. I can do them if I have step by step instructions but as soon I've completed the maths I forget how I did it.
I am good with words though and won a scholarship at school for English/Art.
What's your quirk?

I voted Numbers because even though my memory is bad I have really good recollection.. I can remember old phone numbers, my licence number, bank account numbers, tax file number.
I can also recognise people in the street who I might have only seen once, I can repeat paragraphs from books and quotes from movies..
I am really good at retaining general knowledge and trivia
I have managed to teach myself how to touch type (somewhat) fingers not on correct keys but I know where they are on the keyboard so I don't have to look.

Hanging up clothes. The coathanger hook should alway be pointing over to the left when the top/dress is facing you
That's just common sense to me..
I organise my wardrobe as; Jackets > Long sleeved shirts > Short sleeved shirts. Shirts with collars go at the back of each section.
I always have to use the same coloured pegs when hanging out washing, sometimes I co-ordinate the pegs with the clothes.
I always sit on the same seat on the bus
When I turn the volume up it has to be in even numbers
If I get a biscuit out of the jar it has to be an even number, I can't have one it has to be two or four
Can't wear socks that don't match

If I have music on and I want to skip a song, I have to do it before the chorus or listen to the whole thing..
My OH and I pretend my cat is an old French woman who sounds like the old woman from Allo Allo.. We gave her false memories of being in France during the war. Whenever she hides in a storm we pretend that she's hiding from Germans
Does the fact that I always feel the need to greet my little dog Good Morning and tell her Good Night every day count as being a quirk, or just me being a nutcase?
I say good morning to my cats.. I don't think that's weird, they say hi back...

I smack my tongue after every mouthful of food or drink.
Twitch and flick my toes without realising it (when I am barefoot and lying down).
Dont finish off any hot drink to the end.
All of the above drives hubby and kids bonkers :8}

I have to eat in twos... two bites, two chips, two biscuits, two sugars...
If I go around the table one way, I have to come back the same way.
If I leave the room I have to come back in the same door.
If I turn the volume up, it has to be in even numbers.
If I tap my fingers on the table = even numbers again.
My husband has to give me even kisses too... LOL
And... he cant stand a ticking clock in the same room at night and removes the clocks...
I cant sleep if the blinds are open or a door is ajar.
I was told by a therapist I asked, that these "quirks" of mine are all learned behaviours.
All four of my sisters do exactly the same as I do...
hmmmm

Beanie that sounds like stress related OCD?
I do the coffee thing like people mentioned above.. always leave the last centimetre in case there are critters. It's probably because in the NT the bore water was so thick with white calcium or something, you had to let it sink...ewww...

I am "quirky" when I'm sewing about seams and getting them absolutely straight and matching/even/meeting in clothes and in quilts. Can't stand them being uneven, makes them look 'battered and sloppy' .... :8}
Even in really expensive boutique clothing, I've seen that and it makes me cringe.
I think that is more of a obsessive compulsive disorder but still a little "idiosyncratic". That's my big word for the day, means the same as quirky :^O
Feeling a bit "quirky" have just driven 1800 klms and I feel like I am still driving.

I used to do the peg thing until I had my second child and that quickly went out the window lol
i cannot go bare feet unless I'm on grass or sand, indoors I have to wear my thongs or slippers.
cant think of anything else.
