I think I'm dyslexic with numbers. No matter how hard I tried, as a child and an adult, to learn my multiplication tables I just don't seem to retain the numbers. I also can't remember how to do division and %. I can do them if I have step by step instructions but as soon I've completed the maths I forget how I did it.
I am good with words though and won a scholarship at school for English/Art.
What's your quirk?

Thought of another, I always have to sleep with the window open. Even when it's cold I need to have fresh air around me.

I think most people (including myself) that sew clothes/quilts/crafts aim to get their seams/joins matching and can unpick if they miss the mark. That is what I like about sewing you can redo it, if it not right first time.
If think it would be quirky, if you sewed and didn't care less if your seams matched or were sewn evenly... especially if you were sewing clothes.. 1 sleeve shorter than the other, crooked seams... would anyone want to wear a garment like that?

I can't sleep with my back to the open room if the bed is against the wall and like to cover my ears when watching a scary movie in bed.

I do the tea thing too, but not coffee. In my case I think it's because when I was a child tea was always made in a teapot and unless you poured it out through a strainer there were always tea leaves left in the bottom of your cup.

am*3, I know a few ladies who sew without bothering to match up their seams in their garments as well as quilts, it just doesn't seem to matter to them, but it does to me.
I've also seen shop clothes where seams don't match, and that's what started me making my own clothes. I don't care about sweat shirts and trackies though, but clothes that are made to a standard need to have matching seams etc as they are not cheap ... ๐
