I think I'm dyslexic with numbers. No matter how hard I tried, as a child and an adult, to learn my multiplication tables I just don't seem to retain the numbers. I also can't remember how to do division and %. I can do them if I have step by step instructions but as soon I've completed the maths I forget how I did it.
I am good with words though and won a scholarship at school for English/Art.
What's your quirk?

Good to know I'm as "normal" as you monsters LOL
Years ago at the Bris ecca, my husband and mother walked away and left because I was talking to all the chickens :^O I really didn't think there was anything odd about talking to them....and still don't !
I don't know how I'd go at your place, monsters, think it would take half the day just to say good morning !!!

I have lots of the ones mentioned. The cup of coffee thing, the feet thing, the talking to animals thing, the hiding behind my hand when eating thing, the can't remember numbers thing (although mine is more values, e.g., I couldn't for the life of me tell you what I paid for a loaf of bread, but I do know roughly what it should be).
I always have songs playing in my head. I only very recently discovered that not everyone does that ๐ฎ

I have the songs thing too, I never have to have the radio on because there's always music in my head. It's annoying though, because one song (and usually one I can't stand) will get stuck for days.

Same here Monster, I have been told the trick is to either "give it to someone else" and get it stuck in theirs or sing out loud the last verse then start singing something else. Doesn't work for me, but you could try ๐

It's nice to know that I'm not considered to be as crazy as I feared over the talking to the animals thinking B-)
I don't have songs running through my head, but I often have full on debates going on within my brain, both for, and against the issue ?:|
Perhaps it's because I tend to be prepared to see both sides of every situation without being judgemental, or perhaps it's because no matter what anyone else thinks or says I will always still travel my own road in life.

I have to have my feet out of the covers, even in Winter.

Oh I hate the songs that get stuck in your head and this happens to me everyday. It drives me nuts. Today I have "Give Ireland Back To The Irish" by Wings. Such a random song?
I have to read before I can go to sleep, no matter how tired I am. Even if it's just 2 pages read through sleepy 'can't keep my eyes open' bleery eyes.
