?
Do you object to BAG INSPECTIONS at stores?
Do you object to staff asking to inspect your bag? (they are only doing their job)
Will you shop at a store that asks to inspect your bag or will you go elsewhere?
Do bag inspections and security checks help to stop shop lifting and keep prices down?
If you object WHY?
Do you think that objecting to a bag inspection makes a person look guilty or they are guilty?
Rememer that its a condition of entry at just about every major /medium/small store in Australia

Some of the main objectors are males, they don't carry personal handbags.
The OP doesn't have any objection to having their bags inspected.
Those that do object have already clearly posted why they do.

Found that post Ibis--very interesting.
Was it a weather balloon or a reflection of Venus....................Richo.

Just been to Aldi, on the left of the entry point, there is a big A4 blue sign, with the bag checking policy on it. It didn't look out of place and was the blue colour they use in the store logo. I suspect they have it in all their stores.

I don't go to Aldi frequently but I have seen the bag check sign. It stands out as it is the only thing on the window/glass.
