There is an over representation of females, therefore not a fair demographic to judge Australia on.
If it was a true representation, we would appear to be a bunch of kindergarteners

It's a good representative of anglo saxon Australia.
Lots of different ages, education, economic, political difference. The only thing it lacks is the multiculturalism that defines Australia.

Altho on saying that, most regional areas and country towns aren't particularly multicultural compared to the cities.
So perhaps it's ore like a large country town.
