Nothing can be published in Australia but it must be on line somewhere. I can't find it so far.

Go to the Wikileaks website.

I really think that they should let the story be told. It makes me think the worst of what it could all be about and it might not be as bad as I am thinking.
It's like Chinese whispers now.

I agree. supressing it makes it seem like it must be something really bad

You mean this story?
Being the cynic that I am i suggest you note what is implied in the proceedings:
".........concerning a multi-million dollar corruption case explicitly naming the current and past heads of state of Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam, their relatives and other senior officials......"
Much as our OS holed-up accused sex offender, Assange would insinuate otherwise, it would only appear to be a matter of some near neighbours high position officials allegedly being involved in "corruption". The supression order mentions people who are suggested to have:
The purpose of these orders is to prevent damage to Australia's international relations that may be caused by the publication of material that may damage the reputations of specified individuals who are not the subject of charges in these proceedings.

Overseas, alleged corruption at high level, throwing some mud, really how amazing.
Diplomatic niceties to prevent upsetting our neighbours ?? OK that I understand, gag orders I understand, they are the law. Foreign "affairs" OK , I am not really interested in them.
Wait and see, if you are interested.
