Hi Lyhargr, We just signed up for the free week and have had no problem.  We are using it on the telly through Apple TV and on the laptop through the web site.  The MOL is going to watch it via Chromecast but hasn't tried it yet.  Guess this isn't much help but at least you know I can make it work and I'm a technodummy.  BTW we signed up to watch Vera from the start and now it seems she's gone walkabout so we may not last past the free week.  Good luck.

Thanks for the info peteepie ......  I had a code which entitled to me to 30 days free viewing but its not going to be much good if I cant get it work.  There is an Acorn site on Facebook, from reading it,  some shows seems to appear and disappear, tech hitche perhaps?

I love Vera along with many of British crime dramas, so I hope I can get it working soon. Hubs has tried everything he can think of to install it, still no cigar
