Undecided voters cheered him, makes you wonder whether they were really undecided.

It's not what you do in a debate in my view.

Penny Wong has described Tony Abbott as aggressive. I maintain he is a bit of a thug.

He has a personality disorder that manifests itself in bullying & abusing people he thinks are below him.

My OH was at the receiving end of his foul aggressive behaviour when Rudd was Wayne Gosse's henchman. Everybody called him Doctor Death, i'lll say no more.

Now I know I can't substantiate this but it did happen. Anecdotal comment is not proof but we all know what this person is like so I'll leave it at that.

The reason Abbott wants him to shut up is, because he himself can't string a sentence together with out lip licking and the ahh ahhh ahh a dozen times before he can get a word out of his mouth, he's embarrassing,

Maybe you watched it through different angle = different camera.  I was not able to watch the whole debate, but I watched the bits replayed and at first I wondered why do they stand so close to each other, until it occurred to me that it was a perspective trick created by the camera.  Because when I saw the same part taken from different angle (another camera) Rudd actually stood several feet away from TA.

If Abbott couldn't string a sentence together, wouldn't he have preferred Rudd to continue the talking? 

It was Rudd's  interruptions while Abbott was doing a great job answering questions, that he objected to.

And yes, Abbott was speaking very slowly explaining about  his PPL scheme, about utilizing the money put aside for Rudd's scheme

because for some reason, it appears, a lot of people are struggling  to comprehend it.
