from not funding them, or legislating for them and not following through because there was no money, or only providing one or two fo the service and calling the scheme a success. to some of those policies being so bad for the economy that people were no longer being employed.
some were good but the majority were not.
Where DO you get this info from?
Liberal Party Handbook.

As I said, I have attended functions where even Warrick Capper was invited to speak.
The fact that the Australian people failed to understand how well the ALP government performed only reflects on them.
I am sure there are plenty of functions where footballers speak; to each his own.
Oh right, so now it's the Australian public that is stupid.
Julia Gillard speaks at somewhat more up market functions, i would think.
Like on Learn To Cook Shows?

Obviously, you did not listen to Gillard speaking; she is considered very intelligent, interesting and amusing speaker, that is why she is invited to speak. Or maybe what Gillard and Rudd said went right over your head; maybe you need the 3 word sentences that TA is so good at.
Yes, I saw some of Gillards speech OS.. not sure what country but somewhere in the Middle East.
The woman that said she would call out misogyny when she saw it was asked a question regarding the way women are treated in Middle Eastern countries (can't recall the exact question) and Gillard answered in um'ss and ar's and lots of hesitation and then tells the audience I can't tell another country what to do... hahahahaha.. hows that calling out misogyny???
Um. I think that is called diplomacy and showing respect for the country that is hosting you.
She was there to discuss free trade and if I recall correctly, some woman from New Zealand shouted out a question about what she had to say about the lack of women in Middel Eastern poilitics.
Given the laws in that country and why she went there in the first place, of course she is going to say that she can't tell a country what to do about it's laws.
And by the way catmad, whilst I understand that Michael Smith et al only posted transcipts of the first line of her answer, the rest made it clear that how she felt women around the world should be treated in terms of equality and human rights. She spoke a full 4 minutes on the subject and she was very clear and articulate.

no..not stupid...though they have been fooled
If our PM was a purchase we'd be lodging a not as discribed to get our money back and not buy that product from that seller again.
Julia Gillard would have stayed in and not be replaced by Kevin Rudd ....if Rupurt Murdoch and Tony Abbott hadn't been so determined to win at all and any means...that required getting her out .
For example since the election We've been told the Unity Ticket on Education was misunderstood (by us the voters...what an insult )
That our current Gov't having a tow back policy was a media misrepresentation over a long period of time and that they never had a policy on it ........................and yet it's been done since under Operation Sovereign Boarders .
Those in powerful positions overseas may be more informed than those who believe the negative press and slime media over the past 6yrs.In which case they could be/have been laughing behind our PM's back....when he talks about how our economic situation was managed and stands .If they are laughing at him...they are laughing at us.
Instead of all those words ...he could have just repeated Rupurt Murdoch's election night tweet imo

oh yes and if he was a purchase we could sue any and all promoters

They've been too busy removing all trace of the previous govt to add anything new.
One thing we can be sure of is that there will be dodgy company operators that don't like regulations planning to set up here, in the land with no environmental controls.
