I understand the tip off was that his body had been dumped in a well on the property they are now searching. haven't seen the evening news yet, I'll let you know if there are any updates.

They got a tip off a year ago, then last month they got another one, more credible, apparently. There is a reward, so not too strange

I think by now it's more than likely the guilty parties are already dead, so it may not be such a risk after all. Tony Lewendowski finally admitted to helping stitch up the Mickleburg brothers for the Perth Mint swindle years after the event - once he knew Don Hancock was dead.
