Still digging, still haven't found anything

Someone could be sitting back having a huge laugh or now knowing who the informant is.

What better way than to feed info to someone you suspect to find out who.

And just to think, allll this could have been avoided if cannabis was legalised years ago.

If marijuana wasn't illegal it wouldn't interest the Mafia because there'd be no profit in it - but you can bet your bottom dollar the same people would have been running some other equally 'profitable' business.

Great she, I totally agree re: the prohibition aspect.... having been born, bred and bored in old Sydney town I can tell you the Italians were into prostitution, gambling and 'recreational drugs only'...they despised anyone who dealt in hard drugs and considered them 'dirty people.....when the Italians were chased out of the Cross, the Columbians and Koreans moved in and made it a war zone...

...by comparison the Italians at least made sure there was never any child prostitution or heavy drug dealing in the cross while they had control of it...You could actually go there without any fear of threat.....but after they left you wouldn't go there for quids...too dangerous....

Just saying I remember all of it...I lived in warehouses in the inner city for years as did my OH, (community arts/music was huge back then and we were part of that) when it wasn't fashionable to rent, or live in a warehouse...lol.....

I'm not justifying anything they did apart from that...I just lived in the inner city at the time and there was a 'knowin and a doin' if you get my drift.  There will always be evils, but some are worse than others.

Why did your father have no time for Donald Mackay, thermo. Was it just his politics or did he know the man personally.

Just recalling with the OH, that we once rented a warehouse in Cleveland street, where (in the back alley),  Lanfranchi was shot by Roger Rogerson.....strange days indeed.
